What is Hollywood???

 

Did you know that Hollywood had planned to become a model community whose inhabitants are free from booze? The area was found by the Wilcox family, who bought the land in 1887.
One time, Mrs. Wilcox was sitting on the train, next to a woman who has a summer house which named "Hollywood." Actually Mrs. Wilcox love that word. Finally he chose Hollywood as his area name.
Ten years later, Hollywood turned into a national film center for two reasons. First, the weather allows lengthy period of film making. Second, the film makers often worry sued for copyright infringement. Because Hollywood is close enough to Mexico, then they can cross the border to get legal immunity if necessary.
Hollywood sign was originally written the name "Hollywoodland," which was an expression of advertisement for housing development company. However, the four letters after the name was eventually discarded, and the words "Hollywood" plastered alongside a hill and hold it until now.
